From this, we’ll put together a listing timeline and marketing package which will best suit your needs.
Yes – the Multiple Listing Service is the method with which we (and all Realtors® in Middle Tennessee) list homes on the market. From here, we utilize third-party resources (Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, etc.) to get your property in front of potential buyers.
In addition to putting a sign in your yard, we’ll also share the details of your property via social media, local print publications, email marketing to other agents in our area, and open house showcases.
Contact the property manager or leasing agent listed to confirm the property’s availability and schedule an appointment to tour the unit. Next, fill out an online application through that property’s rental profile on our For Rent page. If there is not a profile for the property you’re interested in, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org to request a link to submit an application. (Please note: Tarkington & Harwell Realtors®, LLC charges a $50 non-refundable application fee per adult applicant, which must be paid online during the application process. Once application has been made and the application fee paid, the application is submitted to the property manager then a credit/eviction/criminal background check is ordered. You are then contacted with an approval to rent or denial based on information received in that report.
Our office charges a $50 non-refundable application fee per adult applicant to cover the application and credit reporting. Once your application has been approved, our office will ask for the security deposit, first month’s rent, and non-refundable pet fee (if applicable) to be paid on or before the 1st day of the lease. The office will also send the lease for electronic signing via the Dot Loop program.
All maintenance requests are to be submitted through the AppFolio Tenant Portal, where our team will assign the maintenance work order to a maintenance technician a timely and efficient manner; the technician will respond to the email or phone number that you have listed in our database. If requests are submitted after business hours, they will be addressed the following business day. Please note that in an emergency, tenants should always call 911 first. In the event of a non-911 emergency, please call our after-hours support line: 800-374-5225.
