Tarkington & Harwell is best known for our listings in Green Hills and Oak Hill, but we’ve listed homes in every corner of Nashville, from 12 South to East Nashville to Charlotte Park. While most of our clients are located in the Metro Nashville Area, we’ve represented buyers and sellers all over Middle Tennessee!

For Sellers

Every property sale is different and there are so many variables which factor in to selling a home. When preparing for a listing consultation, we also do some heavy research on market trends, condition of your home, and other recent sales within your neighborhood. From this, we’ll put together a listing timeline and marketing package which will best suit your needs.

Yes – the Multiple Listing Service is the method with which we (and all Realtors® in Middle Tennessee) list homes on the market. From here, we utilize third-party resources (Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, etc.) to get your property in front of potential buyers.

In addition to putting a sign in your yard, we’ll also share the details of your property via social media, local print publications, email marketing to other agents in our area, and open house showcases.

For Tenants

Contact the property manager or leasing agent listed to confirm the property’s availability and schedule an appointment to tour the unit. Next, fill out an online application through that property’s rental profile on our For Rent page. If there is not a profile for the property you’re interested in, please email: admin@tarkingtonharwell.com to request a link to submit an application. (Please note: Tarkington & Harwell Realtors®, LLC charges a $50 non-refundable application fee per adult applicant, which must be paid online during the application process. Once application has been made and the application fee paid, the application is submitted to the property manager then a credit/eviction/criminal background check is ordered. You are then contacted with an approval to rent or denial based on information received in that report.

Our office charges a $50 non-refundable application fee per adult applicant. Once your application has been approved, our office will ask for the security deposit, first month’s rent, and non-refundable pet fee (if applicable) before sending the lease for signing.

All maintenance requests are to be submitted through the AppFolio’s Tenant Portal, where our team will take care of them in a timely and efficient manner. If requests are submitted after business hours, they will be addressed the following business day. Please note that in an emergency, tenants should always call 911 first. In the event of a non-911 emergency, please call our after-hours support line: 800-374-5225.
